Lease/Purchase Program
and How it Works
|
The Lynch Music "Band Instrument Rent to Own"
program involves a total of 30 payments to own the instrument.
One payment is made at the time you complete the rental
agreement forms (non-refundable down payment). You then
receive a coupon book for the following 29 monthly payments.
You can mail your rental payments to Lynch Music with your
coupon. Your final payment is the lease buyout payment after
which you will own the instrument. All other payments are
considered strictly as rental payments. Rented instruments
may be returned at any time. All due rental amounts are
due at the time of return. The instrument must also be in
an appropriate condition. Once the instrument has been returned
in standard condition with all current charges paid, your
contractual obligations will end.

| Lynch Music rents
brand new, brand name instruments as well as what are called
"Rental Returns". Some music businesses include
"used" instruments in their definition of Rental
Returns. We do not. At Lynch Music "Rental Returns"
are specifically instruments with a minimum amount of use
on them. They are the instruments that get returned to us
from our renters. Most often instruments come back to us due
to a lack of interest on the part of the students. This means
that there is not very much playing time on them. They look
nearly new and, in fact, are nearly new. We discount these
instruments to make them an appealing bargain. We sterilize
or replace mouthpieces. All required adjustments are done
to ensure proper playing condition and cases are cleaned.
The rental program is the same as for new instruments but
they are offered only as available to us. |
| While you are renting
your instrument Lynch Music will perform all necessary minor
adjustments to keep your instrument playing properly. The
renter is responsible for any required repairs. Lynch Music
offers an optional Piece of Mind Program for $4.00 per month ($5.00 for saxophones)
in addition to rental prices. If you choose to be covered
by this program, Lynch Music will do any repairs necessary
to keep your instrument in proper playing condition. If repairs
are necessary you will be provided with a loaner instrument
at no charge. In the event that the instrument is damaged
beyond repair you will be given an equivalent replacement
with all payments applied from your original contracted instrument.
This program will repair any damage done in the course of
normal practice and performance. The only exclusion for repair
under this agreement is damage done intentionally or maliciously. |
